approximation consists of five 3D-printed objects. The surface textures are reminiscent of ocean surfaces. The rectangular light reflections reveal that the original geometries of the objects were generated by an algorithm and do not originate from a real water surfaces. To stabilize the objects during the printing processes, supporting structures have been added by the 3d printing software.
